Academics at Dundee University have helped recreate the face of a Viking woman whose skeleton was unearthed in York more than 30 years ago.
Leif Ericson; lived 970-1020. He was born in Iceland. Son of Erik the Red, Leif Eric(k)son was a Norse explorer who discovered part of North America, most likely Newfoundland.
October 9th is Leif Ericson Day in the United States.
